The leader always acts as a "compass" and determines the direction of the development of the entire organization. "Tone At The Top" or "Leader's Voice" plays a special role in compliance, because it determines the values and ethical climate of the organization.
If the right tone is set, maintained, and developed, it will become the foundation of the organization's culture. After all, this is what unites all employees of the company.
"Tone At The Top" obliges the management to form an open, honest, and ethical corporate culture. When leaders demonstrate appropriate behavior, employees are more likely to follow it.
Taking into account the essence of this approach and its importance for the prevention of corruption, the Foundation for Institutional Development together with the NACP prepared research: "The role of the leader in combating corruption: an analytical review of the implementation of the concept of "Tone At The Top".
The research includes:
🔹Review of international standards regarding the leadership role of the manager in corruption issues.
🔹Analysis of the international practice of implementing the "Tone at the Top" concept.
🔹Legislative basis of the leader's leadership role in the prevention and detection of corruption.
🔹The state of influence of managers on the prevention of corruption in Ukraine.
🔹Study of the Ukrainian practice of implementing the "Tone at the Top" concept.
