The event for everyone being involved in anti-corruption has been waiting for so long...
On April 5, a presentation of the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023–2025 (SACP) took place.
The key points during the presentation were:
🔹 The SACP is the basis for fighting corruption at all levels.
🔹The SACP is a direct response not only to society's request regarding the fight against corruption, but also how to attract investments to Ukraine in the future.
🔹 The practical implementation of the measures provided for in the State Anti-corruption Program will lead to the cleansing of the state apparatus from unscrupulous officials, the effective eradication of corruption schemes in key areas of public policy, and a significant reduction in the number of factors contributing to corruption at the legislative level.
All this is possible because society is also ready for it. This is proven by the results of the sociological survey "Corruption in Ukraine 2022: understanding, perception, prevalence", intolerance to corruption among citizens and businesses continues to grow - 60% of business representatives and more than 57% of citizens have a negative attitude to corruption, while in 2020 this indicator was 51% and 46%.
The Foundation for Institutional Development is already working to support the implementation of the SACP by the public. We will:
🔹 establish a system of anti-corruption compliance in local communities;
🔹 teach the public to exercise control over the activities of local self-government bodies;
🔹 to develop local anti-corruption officers;
🔹 strengthen the image of our state and the stability of public institutions with the help of anti-corruption and integrity.
