The Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy was developed for the first time in Ukraine. The Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy is a roadmap for the implementation of anti-corruption policy, which brings together almost all government bodies and structures to achieve this goal.
The Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy envisages more than 1,700 measures, the implementation of which will help reduce the level of corruption in 15 of the most important spheres of Ukrainian life. In particular, it is:
🔹increasing the efficiency of the anti-corruption system and ensuring the inevitability of responsibility for corruption;
🔹 defense;
🔹 justice;
🔹real sector of the economy;
🔹state regulation of the economy;
🔹customs affairs and taxation;
🔹construction, land relations and infrastructure;
🔹 health care;
🔹education and social protection;
🔹honesty of the political system.
The Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy for 2023-2025 responds to the demands of the society and brings Ukraine closer to membership in the EU and NATO. It contains 5 principles that can change the situation with corruption for the better:
🔹optimization authorities’ functions;
🔹digital transformation;
🔹increasing the transparency of the delivering of public services;
🔹 inevitability of responsibility for corruption;
🔹affirmation of the culture of integrity.
The approval of The Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy was one of the 5 recommendations of Transparency International Ukraine, which would help reduce the level of corruption in Ukraine. These recommendations were presented by the organization on the occasion of the publication of last year's Corruption Perception Index, in which Ukraine has 32 points out of 100 and ranks 122 out of 180. European partners and ambassadors of the G7 countries are also insisting on its approval.
