We are walking confidently with the Pervomayska community towards the creation of an anti-corruption program.
The community has already formed a working group on the assessment of corruption risks in the activities of the Pervomayska City Council of the Kharkiv region and its executive committee.
Recently, the entire working group underwent training organized by the Foundation for Institutional Development.
"Our work is a partnership. We are conducting an inspection of the city council's anti-corruption work together with the formed working group, so that community representatives can experience in practice why an anti-corruption program is needed, study the community environment, be able to easily notice potential risks and know points of growth that will help make the city council's activities more transparent," said Kateryna Datsko, project manager.
During the training, the participants got acquainted with the methodology of assessing corruption risks, which is the basis for identifying potential risks and developing effective measures to minimize them.
Currently, the working group on assessing corruption risks is moving to the stage of environmental analysis, identification and description of corruption risks in the city council and its executive committee. Based on the results of this work, a register of corruption risks will be formed.
