The training "Tone At The Top: anti-corruption management and development of a integrity environment of the body" for leader of local self-government bodies of the southern and eastern regions was held ✅
We managed to gather leaders who are convinced that effective management depends on the development and provision of a system of prevention and detection of corruption at the level of a separate institution.
During the training, the experts shared with the participants tools for building a integrity environment of the organization and discussed:
▪️ the concept of "Tone At The Top" and features of managerial decision-making in conditions of ethical dilemmas;
▪️ the concept of 3 lines of risk management of the organization;
▪️ forms the involvement of civil society institutions in the reconstruction projects that will be implemented by the local government.
Iryna Chagovets, the head of the Department of Educational Work and Educational Programs of the NACP, also spoke about specific action algorithms on how to ensure effective anti-corruption work in the body.
In addition, the director of the Kharkiv Territorial Administration of the NABU, Yuriy Kravchenko, highlighted the topic of implementation of typical corruption risks in the activities of of local self-government bodies and shared his thoughts on how to prevent their occurrence, using practical cases.
We are glad that there are more and more communities in Ukraine that strive to have the image of being as open and virtuous as possible.
The training was held within the framework of the project «Transparent community recovery through risk management and compliance development», which is implemented with the support by the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI) — the leading anti-corruption support program in Ukraine funded by the EU, co-funded, and implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
