✅ We summarize the results of the strategic session for heads of local self-government bodies "How to form a brand of an integrity community?", which took place on June 10-11.
The following spoke at the strategic session:
▪️ Serhiy Derkach, the Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, who represents the anti-corruption communication strategy of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
▪️ Nataliia Aliushyna, the Head of the NAUCS, who spoke about the importance of integrity in public service and communication strategies for promoting integrity in communities.
For two days, the participants worked with Olena Konoplia, the Head of the Department of Communication and Information Policy of the NACP, who presented the main provisions of the Communication Strategy for Preventing and Combating Corruption until 2025.
Also with Iryna Chagovets, the Head of the Department of Educational Work and Educational Programs of the NACP, who told the participants about the leader in developing the role of a virtuous organization.
Successful group communication was ensured by Anna Fedorenko, Yuliia Lomzhets, Kateryna Datsko, experts of the Foundation for Institutional Development, and Mykhailo Sagaidak, the Head of the Department of Management of Vadym Hetman Kyiv National University of Economics, MBA teacher, practical psychologist, trainer, facilitator.
Key outcomes of the strategy session:
▪️ prepared methodological recommendations with practical advice for local self-government bodies regarding development and communication measures to prevent corruption;
▪️ increasing participants' awareness of effective communication and promoting integrity;
▪️ promoting the implementation of the goals of the Communications Strategy in the field of prevention and countering corruption for the period until 2025.
The event was the sixth step towards improving communication regarding the prevention of corruption and the formation of a brand of virtuous communities in Ukraine.
The event was organized with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine and the financial support of the Government of Sweden.
