The Foundation's experience in the field of whistleblowers protection conquers the international community.
Recently, Oksana Bronevytska, the CEO of the Foundation for Institutional Development and an expert in the field of whistleblowers protection, took part in the conference
"Whistleblowers' Rights and Their Protection", organized by the Whistleblowers of America and the Workplace Promise Institute in Washington, USA.
During the event, participants discussed important issues in supporting whistleblowers, including mental health, legal protection and the challenges these people face.
A special impression was made by the speeches of such experts as Tom Devine, Benjamin Calitri, Gina Poserina, Cleveland Lawrence and the emotional experience of Brian Knowles, who defended whistleblowers of the Boeing company.
The speeches of the whistleblowers who went through dismissal from work, harassment, threats, change of residence, which significantly affected them and their lives, were impressive: Christian Greene, Francesca Graham, Carlene Petitt, Rebeccah Jones, Ted Blickwedel.

💬 Oksana Bronevytska shared her impressions:
"I was impressed by the friendly atmosphere of the conference and the personal stories of whistleblowers who were harassed and lost their jobs because of their principled stance. The participants showed great interest in our experience of working in war conditions, as well as in the development of a system of psychological support for whistleblowers in Ukraine".
🌍 An important result of the visit: agreements on future meetings and cooperation with representatives of the US, UNODC, and other countries in the field of whistleblowers support.
