💻 The Foundation for Institutional Development held a series of webinars on the integrity implementation of recovery projects.
According to preliminary estimates of the Ukrainian authorities, more than 350,000 objects and millions of square meters of residential, educational, medical, sports infrastructure were destroyed in Ukraine, thousands of kilometers of roads and railway tracks, airports, ports and much more were damaged. All this needs to be restored and falls on the shoulders of communities.
Although the war is still ongoing, most local governments are already planning or implementing reconstruction projects.
👥Given the relevance of the topic, during three days almost 200 participants received valuable knowledge and practical skills regarding:
▪️ project management;
▪️ interaction with state bodies (commissions) during the implementation of restoration projects;
▪️ corruption risk management in recovery projects.
The webinars were organized by the Foundation for Institutional Development as part of the project "Transparent community reconstruction: tools for public involvement" with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
